Read on for infor­ma­tion on how to cor­rect­ly pre­pare your team’s application.

Appli­ca­tion Preparation

There are four steps in the 2023–24 appli­ca­tion process.

1. Iden­ti­fy your team members.
2. Select a team point of contact.
3. Attend the pre-appli­ca­tion infor­ma­tion­al webi­nar on June 15. (Atten­dance is option­al but recommended.)
4. Com­plete the appli­ca­tion. Appli­ca­tions require five respons­es that rep­re­sent the team’s vision, goals and expe­ri­ence work­ing togeth­er AND a sec­tion that must be com­plet­ed sep­a­rate­ly by each indi­vid­ual on the team.

Iden­ti­fy Your Team

• Con­sid­er the team com­po­si­tion and char­ac­ter­is­tics based on the cri­te­ria.

Select a Team Point of Contact

The team point of con­tact will:

• be the main point of con­tact for Foun­da­tion staff and faculty;
• com­plete the appli­ca­tion in con­sul­ta­tion with the mem­bers of the team; and
• facil­i­tate sched­ul­ing team meet­ings dur­ing the 14-month pro­gram so the team com­pletes its assigned tasks.

Attend the Pre-Appli­ca­tion Webinar

• Encour­age team mem­bers to reg­is­ter and attend the webi­nar at 3 p.m. ET on Thurs­day, June 15, 2023

Com­plete the ALN Application

• Com­plete and sub­mit your appli­ca­tion by 5 p.m. ET on July 10, 2023

There are sev­er­al dates in the appli­ca­tion and sub­se­quent selec­tion processes.

Note: In the online appli­ca­tion plat­form, once com­plet­ed, appli­ca­tions must be sub­mit­ted as an addi­tion­al step in the process.

Noti­fi­ca­tion of teams who are invit­ed to vir­tu­al interviews

August 9–23, 2023
Vir­tu­al inter­views con­duct­ed; all team mem­bers must participate
