This brief describes how a community foundation was started to address the needs of the working poor in rural Florida. Key to providing finanical education and money management services to struggling families, the P-3 Community Foundation established strong community partnerships.
The P-3 Community Foundation – which integrates the Casey Foundation’s Rural Family Economic Success (RuFES) framework – is helping low-income, rural families in three Florida counties achieve self-sufficiency through financial education and money management services.
