Ashley Cheatham leads the programmatic communications team, which partners with Casey’s 15 programmatic and scale teams to develop and implement effective communications plans.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2024, she managed strategic communications for human resources at Johns Hopkins University, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of communications for university-wide HR matters, including policy and programming for more than 17,000 employees.
Cheatham previously worked as the director of marketing and communications at Maryland Legal Aid, public relations manager at Stanley Black and Decker. She has held various communications roles at Independence (formerly Independence Blue Cross) and the American College of Radiology Imaging Network.
Cheatham earned a master’s degree in communication at Drexel University and a bachelor’s degree in English from Appalachian State University.
