Allison Gerber is vice president for the Center for Economic Opportunity. She leads efforts to create pathways to financial stability and economic success for children, youth and families across the United States. Prior to joining the Foundation, Gerber was the executive director of the District of Columbia’s Workforce Investment Council and a senior associate with the Aspen Institute’s Workforce Strategies Initiative. Gerber earned a bachelor’s degree in American Studies and public administration from Sweet Briar College and a law degree from Tulane University.
