Ade Oguntoye leads the Economic Opportunity portfolio for the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s Atlanta Civic Site. As a program officer, he focuses on intergenerational wealth creation through pathways to living wage employment and supporting entrepreneurs with technical assistance, access to capital and building of community. Previously, he interned at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs where he worked on issues related to youth globally. In this role, he helped organize the World Youth Forum in Dakar, Senegal. He is also the co-founder of The Imperative Fund, an endowment dedicated to the wealth, health and connectedness of Black people worldwide.
Ade received a master’s degree in social work and social policy from Columbia University and has a bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology from Emory University. He is currently in the Atlantic Fellows for Racial Equity and is an alum of the Association of Black Foundation Executives’ Connecting Leaders Fellowship program.
